NBU sells over US$43 mln on Dec 21-24 to support hryvnia / REUTERS

The National Bank of Ukraine on December 21-24 sold US$43.1 million on the interbank foreign exchange market to smooth out excessive rate fluctuations.

The NBU had not been purchasing foreign currency over the period under review, the regulator said on its website.
