CMA CGM Ural
CMA CGM URAL, the vessel from China is about to reach the docks in Odesa, southern Ukraine. None of the crew members appear to be carrying coronavirus; instead, some suffer from ARVI. The website of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that on Thursday evening.
According to the company's representatives, respective measures will be taken; the health conditions monitoring takes place.
CMA CGM URAL left the last Chinese port on its way on January 16. Prior to coming to Ukraine, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey and Romania. In these ports, all crew members underwent checks for coronavirus. No signs of the disease were spotted.
In spite of the maximum 14 days-long incubation period of the coronavirus, and taking into account the term of 27 days since the vessel left China, the epidemiological situation is normal.
After the vessel reaches Odesa, all crew members will undergo temperature screening; in case of suspicions, they will be redirected to special medical facilities. Lab tests for coronavirus will be performed.
