President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that ordinary people are not involved in organizing protests in Novi Sanzhary. He stated this while delivering his speech at a business forum, which was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

"You know what happened there. Unfortunately, I cannot call it human actions and I do not want to pick up other words. Unfortunately, this happens. It is not just because of people. I think ordinary people are not related to this. Unfortunately, it was political support for this pseudo-action that took place in some cities," he stated.

The head of state also added that, in his opinion, people were incited by those who coordinate agitation against land reform.

"I think that we will see very soon that the faces of people who stand against the land reform and stay of our citizens in Ukraine will match. Unfortunately," Zelensky said.

As we reported earlier, police detained 24 participants of the protests against the placement of Ukrainians, evacuated from Wuhan, China, in Novi Sanzhary. The relevant statement was made by the Head of Ukraine's National Police Ihor Klymenko.

According to him, 17 people were arrested in the morning, seven more protesters - in the evening.
