Ukraine, Estonia agree on joint action to repel Russian aggression - MFA Ukraine.

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on Wednesday, December 1, held talks with Estonia’s Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets during the meeting of the NATO North Atlantic Council in Riga.

That’s according to the report released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

The report says Kuleba briefed his Estonian counterpart in detail about the situation in the temporarily occupied territories and along the border of Ukraine against the background of further strengthening of Russia’s military presence. The two foreign ministers agreed to jointly oppose Russia's aggressive actions targeting Ukraine and the Baltic-Black Sea region.

It is noted that Ukraine has secured further support from Estonia at the bilateral and multilateral levels within NATO in mobilizing international pressure to deter Russia from escalating the conflict and toward restoring the territorial integrity of our country.

Kuleba thanked the Estonian side for the comprehensive humanitarian, financial, and technical support of Ukraine. Estonia’s top diplomat assured her Ukrainian counterpart of her country’s readiness to continue supporting Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO.

The parties also discussed prospects for further bilateral cooperation, in particular in the field of defense and countering hybrid threats.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Kuleba is taking part in a NATO foreign ministerial in Riga at the invitation of Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

As part of the ministerial, the top diplomats will discuss concrete steps Allies should take to support Ukraine in repelling Russian aggression.
