Zelensky to open Forum ‘Ukraine 30. Country’s Security’ on Tuesday

On Tuesday, May 11, the three-day All-Ukrainian Forum “Ukraine 30. Country’s Security” will start.

“Within the framework of the event, key representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and international partners will discuss the National Security Strategy, the fighting capacity of the Ukrainian army, and internal security for which the Ministry of Internal Affairs is responsible,” the organizers of the Forum told Ukrinform.

President of Ukraine – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will open the Forum. He will outline the basic principles of the National Security Strategy of Ukraine.

The second day will be dedicated to the topic of national security in the field of defense and the role of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the reform of the Armed Forces and the defense industry according to NATO standards and the fighting capacity of the military reserve will be discussed.

Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov will open the third day of the Forum. The main topic of this day is the internal security of the state and the protection of its borders.

"The participants will touch upon the security challenges and prospects for overcoming them, capacity building in the field of civil protection and public safety, as well as border security, migration processes, and international cooperation," the event organizers informed.
