Ukraine to receive 6.5M doses of COVID vaccines in Aug-Sept – health minister

Ukraine will receive about 6.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccines in August and September, Health Minister Viktor Liashko has said.

He said this at a briefing as part of the Kyiv Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen on Monday, August 23, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Vaccines continue to arrive. There will be more deliveries in August and in September. At least 6.5 million doses of the vaccine will come," Liashko said.

According to him, about 9.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines are currently available at vaccination points in medical institutions, in mass vaccination centres, and in mobile vaccination teams.
