JOSE MOURINHO urged Chelsea fans not to get used to celebrating defeat.

Chelsea fans applauded their players after a 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool, outplaying the league leaders at part.

He said: “I hope they don’t get used to it, just because you’re team plays well and you accept defeat.

“I think when you get used to it is when the big clubs, they stop becoming the big clubs.

“So, I don’t think they’ll get used to it but I think it shows that people are ready for what the season is going to be for them.

“These people are ready to support one of the best professionals that I have ever worked with.

“A manager with potential and I think they are ready to accept what this is going to be because clearly you look today and part of the performance and result and the numbers are that Liverpool are ten-points ahead of Chelsea.

“So let's make it clear and objective, Chelsea aren't going to fight for the title, so lets support what looks like their philosophy.”

    CHELSEA 1-2 LIVERPOOL

Frank Lampard: “We didn't deserve to lose possibly could won.

“The free kick is a ridiculous goal fair play to that, the cross Firmino shouldn’t have a free header, obviously.

“Performance wise we were the better team.

“Sometimes it's character, pure spirit, that’s why the fans clapped the team.

“It is what it is I like to think we'll get one in our favour.

“We do have to get on with it, it's a sad thing for the moment and the celebrations but if you want the right decision you have to go with it.

“Little moments like that change the face of the game.

“We have to mark better in the area.

“When the ball comes in your area you can't have people stroll in and head it, that's the message of the day.

“Yeah it's important and we appreciate it. We want to change it soon and I believe it will change with performances like that.

“We lost Eden Hazard and lost two No9’s that played most of last season and we couldn't replace them.”

JOSE MOURINHO claims Chelsea deserved to get a point at Stamford Bridge after losing 2-1 to Liverpool.

Mourinho told Sky Sports: “I think they risked a little bit in that second

    half.

“If Chelsea scored that second goal I would say that was a fair result.

“They had a few chances to score the equaliser and I think that would have been a reward for how Chelsea played in the second half.”
