Trump denies Russian interference in US elections in his favor.

U.S. President Donald Trump rejected U.S. intelligence warnings that Russia would interfere in the 2020 US presidential election. As Trump wrote on Twitter, such statements are another “disinformation campaign” of the Democrats.

"Democrats are launching yet another disinformation campaign in Congress, claiming that Russia prefers me instead of one of the Democratic loafers who are still unable to count their votes in Iowa in two weeks," the American said the president.

On the eve of the American editions of The New York Times, The Washington Post and CNN reported on the possible interference of Moscow in the current presidential election in order to facilitate the re-election of Trump. According to them, a senior intelligence official told the intelligence committee of the US House of Representatives at a confidential briefing. In particular, intelligence agencies believe that Moscow is interfering in the primary elections of the Democrats.

The briefing took place on February 13, and the next day, Trump allegedly reprimanded the acting director of the US National Intelligence Joseph Maguire for allowing him to host the event. Within a few days, the head of the White House announced that Maguire would be replaced by US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell.
