Ukraine takes a tough stance in negotiations with Iran over the downing of a Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) passenger jet near Tehran and will not allow it to escape the responsibility, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.
“Iran is a tough negotiator, as well as Ukraine. We will not allow Iran to buy off and avoid justice in this matter. If we were not a tough negotiator, Iran could have already achieved something. But we stick to our principles. And justice is inevitable. We will achieve it,” Kuleba said in an interview with The Day newspaper.
