Spanish media report first case of infection with Covid-19.

On Tuesday, February 25, Spanish medics confirmed the first case of an infection with Chinese coronavirus in that country. La Vanguardia reported that, quoting the Spanish healthcare officials.

The incident was observed in Catalunya. A 36-year-old Italian was hospitalized; she traveled to Milan and Bergamo for ten days, and then she felt sick. Currently, she just suffers from typical symptoms of influenza. Medics consider it is a light case of coronavirus infection.

According to the Healthcare Department worker, about 25 people were taken to isolation boxes; all of them contacted the infected woman lately. Then, these people will be staying in their houses under epidemiologic surveillance.

Recently, one more passenger of Diamond Princess cruise liner with diagnosed coronavirus died, as Mainichi Shimbun reported. The deceased was an 80-year old citizen of Japan.

851 cases of infection with coronavirus are confirmed in the territory of Japan. The majority of infected, 691 people, are the passengers and crew of Diamond Princess.
