The government program “Affordable Mortgage”, which will ease access to a mortgage and offer a rate of up to 7%, will be simplified on a monthly basis.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said about this during the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Infrastructure", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"A 7% mortgage will exist, we will simplify this program every month so that people can join this program,” he said.
President Zelensky has added that the government is also developing a separate leasing program at 5% for those who receive salaries from the budget.
As Ukrinform reported, on January 27, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the mechanism of the "Affordable Mortgage" program, which provides for a mortgage rate of 7%. The program will be launched in March.
