On February 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky included the head of President’s Office Andriy Yermak in the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and expelled the former head of the President’s Office Andriy Bohdan. The decree №52/2020 states this.

“To enter Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak into the personal staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and to withdraw Andriy Bohdan from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine,” the message reads.

On February 11, Zelensky appointed Andriy Yermak as the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. Prior to that, he was a president’s aide. Yermak spoke about principles of President’s Office. According to him, the Office of the President will guarantee freedom of speech. Yermak added that he intended to continue the international negotiations he has been engaged in earlier. The new head of the Office of the President noted that the office planned to work more effectively with governors.

Earlier in this post, Andriy Bohdan was fired from this position.
