Each one includes 12 pots of regular slime and 12 of cloud slime, which has an extra fluffy texture, in various colours.

The calendar was shared by Facebook page Money Saver Online, and it proved popular.

One shopper said: "Aw Jesus my two would love this. Me on the other hand would absolutely hate it."

While another added: "Maisie would love this lol. You might have to get her 2 this year lol."

The calendars usually cost £12.99 at The Works, but it's currently been reduced to just £10 on its website.

Although, if you also add the code "DW25" before you pay then you'll get an extra 25 per cent off, bringing the price down to just £7.50.

Just keep in mind that if you order online, you'll have to pay a £2.99 delivery fee unless your order amounts to more than £20.

But you can use The Works' click and collect service to pick up in a store for free. You can find your nearest one using its store locator tool.

The Sun has asked the retailer whether the calendars are available in stores, and how long the discount is available for but we haven't heard back yet. We'll update this article as soon as we do.

The Works is offering the cheapest price we could find, as similar slime calendars are up for grabs on QDstores.co.uk for £12.99.

Very.co.uk usually also sells the same calendar for £9.49, but it's currently sold out online.

Last Christmas, Home Bargains sold a £7 slime advent calendar with 16 different pots of slime, four pots of glitter and two pots of sand.

It turned out really popular, and cheeky eBay sellers cashed in by reselling it for up to £40.

Meanwhile, B&M is this year selling a Christmas-themed slime kit and it’s the perfect stocking filler.
