Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said the government is not going to suspend public transport during lockdown.

"As for transport, it will work. Airlines, railways and urban transport are not planned to be suspended even during the lockdown. All scientific studies show transport is not the main source of the active spread of this pandemic," he said during a Q&A hour at the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on November 4.

The work of public transport was as limited as much as possible during the spring lockdown, it should be recalled.
