Svitolina remains world No. 5 in WTA ranking

Ukraine's top-seeded tennis player Elina Svitolina has retained the fifth position in the updated ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

Australian Ashleigh Barty holds the lead in the table. She is followed by Romanian Simona Halep, Japanese Naomi Osaka, and American Sofia Kenin. Behind Svitolina are Czech Karolina Pliskova, Canadian Bianca Andreescu, Czech Petra Kvitova, Kiki Bertens of the Netherlands and Serena Williams of the United States.

Dayana Yastremska remains Ukraine's second-seeded player, holding the 29th place in the WTA ranking.
