Ukraine's national football team has played its first game in Zaporizhya ever; the city hosted the friendly match between the Yellow-Blues and the national team of Estonia.
Given the fact that Ukraine completed the task to get to Euro 2020, manager Andriy Shevchenko now has a good chance to evaluate the reserve players and give them an opportunity to play against Estonia and Serbia (the latter is yet to come, it is slated for November 17). This is why Ukraine's line-up was an experimental one.

On the other hand, Ukrainians were in control for the most of the game. Not that they were too successful in shooting and completing passes, but the team played decently. The Yellow Blues could not break the opponent's defense until the added time. Eventually, the scored, thanks to the efforts of Roman Bezus and a ricochet from Estonia's forwared Sergei Zenev.
