President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Prime Minister of Slovenia Borut Pahor and the entire government on the beginning of the Slovenian presidency of the Council of the European Union, adding that strengthening Ukraine's relations with the EU will make Europe stronger.
He wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.
“Sincere congratulations to Borut Pahor, the government of Slovenia on the beginning of the Slovenian presidency of the EU Council. I wish the successful implementation of all priorities set. Strengthening Ukraine-EU relations will make Europe stronger,” Zelensky wrote.
As reported, Slovenia has taken over the six-month presidency of the EU Council, replacing Portugal.
