Police detains foreigner suspected of plastic surgeon’s murder in Odesa.


Today, the staff of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv region together with border guards detained a foreigner, who is suspected of killing a plastic surgeon on the evening of February 2, in the airport of Odesa. This was reported by the Head of Kyiv National Police Andrii Kryshchenko, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"The Kyiv police together with the border guards detained a suspect in the murder of a plastic surgeon, committed in the capital of Ukraine on February 2, in the airport of Odesa. He is a citizen of a foreign state, after committing the murder he hid and tried to leave the territory of Ukraine," Kryshchenko said.

According to the Head of Kyiv National Police, investigative actions are being carried out at this moment.

As we reported earlier, on February 2, a shooting took place on Saksahanskoho Street in Kyiv. As a result of the incident, a man was killed.

"An accident occurred in the Shevchenkivsky district of the capital - a man was shot. According to witnesses, an unknown man ran up to a passerby, fired several shots, took a parcel from him and went in an unknown direction. The man died from his wounds," the message reads.

Police believe that the murder could have been connected to professional activities of the surgeon, personal conflict or financial obligations.
