Voting is generally held in compliance with electoral legislation – OPORA.

Voting in local elections in Ukraine is generally held in compliance with electoral legislation, according to the OPORA civil network.

"If we talk about the quality of the electoral process in general, then according to our information, voting takes place, as a rule, on the basis of the requirements of the electoral legislation. Although some polling stations commit violations," OPORA analyst Oleksandr Kliuzhev said at a briefing.

In particular, he said that attempts to illegally issue or receive ballot papers were recorded at 4.5% of polling stations. Such violations were associated with domestic motives in order to vote for their relatives.

Voters' attempts to show their ballots were recorded at 2.5% of precincts.

At less than 1% of polling stations, attempts were made to photograph ballots by voters.

According to Kliuzhev, violations were insignificant in 13% of polling stations, while significant violations of the law were committed in less than 1% of polling stations.

In addition, he said that in one precinct there were suspicions of "throwing" ballots, this situation is now being inspected by observers.
