Girl, 2, suffers head injury after falling out of BMW on busy roundabout.

A TWO-YEAR-OLD girl has suffered a head injury after falling out of a BMW on a busy roundabout.

The toddler was rushed to hospital following the accident on the A56 at Accrington, Lancashire yesterday.

Police said the girl fell from the BMW X5 on the Whinfield roundabout around 12.40am.

The child is said to be in a "serious but stable" condition at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

Sgt Dave Hurst, of Lancashire Constabulary, called for witnesses to come forward.

He said: "“We believe there may have been a white vehicle, possibly a Kia, in the area at the time and we are keen to speak to them."
