Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a phone call with Slovakia's Prime Minister Eduard Heger thanked him for a powerful air defense package for Ukraine.
The head of state said this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"Our Brussels agreements are working! During a phone call, I thanked Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger for a powerful package of air & air defense weapons, including MiG aircraft. I appreciate his personal role in supporting Ukraine. I look forward to continuing our dialogue in Kyiv," Zelensky said.

The Government of Slovakia earlier agreed to send 13 Soviet MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.
