Ukraine’s Air Force launches over 20 strikes on enemy positions, destroys Su-25.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Air Force launched 17 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian troops and four more – on enemy air defense systems. A Russian Su-25 attack aircraft and four reconnaissance drones were also destroyed.

This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, June 7, published on Facebook.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched 35 missile strikes using Kh-101/X-555 air-launched cruise missiles. All missiles were destroyed by the air defense forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, the enemy launched 41 airstrikes and 57 MLRS attacks. Unfortunately, civilians were killed and injured, apartment blocks, private houses, and other civilian infrastructure objects were damaged," the report reads.

In addition, Russian terrorists committed another war crime. In order to prevent the advance of Ukrainian troops, they blew up the internal structures of the Kakhovka HPP. As a result of the terrorist attack, about 80 settlements are in flooding area.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Over the past 24 hours, more than 30 combat engagements took place.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy launched airstrikes near Ohirtseve in Kharkiv region. Yeline, Kamyanka, Prohres, Karpovychi, Kostobobriv, Tymonovychi, Medvedivka, Halahanivka in Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Shalyhine, Volfyne, Katerynivka, Obody, Yastrubyne, Popivka, Basivka, Zapsillia, Myropillia, Myropilske, Velyka Pysarivka, Hrabovske in Sumy region; Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Baranivka, Veterynarne, Vysoka Yaruha, Strilecha, Hatyshche, Synelnykove, Tsehelne, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Zybyne, Karayichne, Zarichne, Pechenihy, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka, Chuhunivka, Milove, Velykyi Burluk, Odradne, Fyholivka in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In Kupyansk direction, Novomlynsk, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masiutivka, Lyman Pershyi, Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Kreminna, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Berestove in Donetsk region. Airstrikes were launched near the settlements of Dibrova, Novosadove, Spirne, Vesele, Hryhorivka, and Ivanivka in Donetsk region. Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Verkhniokamyanske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy went on the offensive toward Klishchiyivka, had no success. Airstrike was launched near Bila Hora in Donetsk region. Vasiukivka, Malynivka, Tykhonivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ozarianivka, Toretsk, Pivnichne in Donetsk region came under enemy artillery fire.

In Avdiyivka direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Airstrikes were launched near Avdiyivka. The invaders fired artillery at the areas of Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Lastochkyne, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, Nevelske settlements in Donetsk region.

In Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian defenders repelled all 13 enemy attacks near Maryinka. At the same time, the enemy carried out airstrikes within the settlement. Hostre, Maksymilyanivka, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region were hit with artillery.

In Shakhtarske direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Zolota Nyva, and Velyka Novosilka. Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novoukrainka, and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk region were struck.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to hold the defense. An airstrike was launched on Olhivske, Zaporizhzhia region. Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Temyrivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Bilohirya, Stepove, and Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhya region; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region; Odradokamyanka, Antonivka, Kherson in Kherson region came under artillery fire.

Also, over the past 24 hours, a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft and four reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed. Missile and artillery units hit nine enemy command posts, four areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, three ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile system, 14 enemy artillery units on firing positions, and 18 other important enemy targets," the General Staff summed up.
