Vladimir Putin, the Russian President and Emmanuel Macron, the French President
French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin have negotiated the terms of Normandy Summit during the telephone conversation, which was initiated by French side, according to the Kremlin's press service.
Putin one again emphasized the expediency of its careful preparation, which, in his opinion, would allow to make new steps in full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
During the exchange of views on the situation in Ukraine parties emphasized the non-alternative nature of the Minsk complex of measures as a basis for resolving the military conflict in the Donbas, which the Kremlin calls the "domestic crisis". Moscow is demanding from Kyiv that all agreements reached in the Normandy format and in the Contact Group must be unconditionally implemented. First of all, this includes the separation of forces at two agreed sections of the collision line near Zolote and Petrovske, as well as the implementation of the "Steinmeier formula" in the legislation of Ukraine.
The leaders of France and Russia have reached an agreement to continue bilateral contacts at different levels.
