Zelensky expects maximum results from his visit to United States.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky says his visit to the United States is being actively prepared.

He said this at the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. International Relations" in Kyiv on July 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We are laying the groundwork for new projects and initiatives for a strategic partnership with the United States. We are actively preparing for my visit to Washington, which, above all, should be meaningful. This is not tourism! It should be as complete and effective as possible,” the head of state said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Joe Biden had a phone call on June 7 during which the U.S. leader invited his Ukrainian counterpart to visit the White House.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on June 11 that the Ukrainian and U.S. presidents would meet in late July.
