Ukrainian deputy defense minister meets with U.S. delegation

Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Oleksandr Nosov has met with a delegation of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command led by Deputy to the Commanding General, Dr. Myra Gray, according to the Ukrainian ministry’s press service.

The Ukrainian deputy minister told the delegation about the security situation, priority areas for providing weapons and military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Nosov pointed out the areas where the Ukrainian Defense Ministry needs foreign partners’ support the most.

The parties also discussed issues of cooperation in the field of military and technical policy and practical implementation of the agreements signed between Ukraine and the United States during the recent visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States.

At the meeting, Dr. Myra Gray reaffirmed the U.S. support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
