HE'S already a very familiar face on our screens and the actor behind one of the funniest characters in Soapland.
And now he's heading to the Australian Outback to take part in I'm A Celebrity. But what else do we know about Andrew Whyment? We have the lowdown here...

Yes - On October 27, 2019, The Sun exclusively revealed that Andrew had signed up for this year's I'm A Celeb.
The actor will become the 11th present and former star from the Cobbles to appear in the Aussie jungle.
A source said: “Producers are really pleased with the line-up so far, with just a couple of faces to unveil.
"There’s a chance they’ll add a couple more but in previous years they’ve stuck at ten with one or two to follow.
“They were chuffed to get Andrew as viewers have watched him on Coronation Street for the best part of two decades, yet know nothing about him away from Kirk.”
The source added: “Soap stars always do well on I’m a Celeb . . . so the producers have high hopes of Andrew.”
Jennie McAlpine, Andrew’s on-screen ex Fiz Brown, came fourth in I’m a Celeb in 2017.
Other Street faves to appear include Antony Cotton (Sean Tully), Nigel Havers (Lewis Archer), Helen Flanagan (Rosie Webster), Craig Charles (Lloyd Mullaney) and, last year, Sair Khan (Alya Nazir).

Who does he play in Coronation Street?
The actor, 38, has played Kirk Sutherland on the soap since 2000.
Kirk is the older brother of Maria Connor, who he used to share the Weatherfield Kennels with.
However since 2010 he has been a packer at Underworld.
Andrew won the Best Comedy Performance award for his role at the 2003 British Soap Award.
The following year, in 2004 he also won the funniest character award in Inside Soap Awards.

How did Andrew become famous?
Andrew is an English actor who was born on April 2, 1981.
He's best known for his roles in Coronation Street and The Royle Family.
And it was playing Darren Sinclair-Jones in the BBC comedy The Royle Family that propelled him to fame.
Before that he trained at Salford's Laine Johnson Theatre School and then Salford College of Further Education for a BTEC in Performing Arts.
Since first becoming famous on The Royle Family, Andrew has remained a firm fixture on our screens after joining Corrie in 2000.

What other shows has Andrew Whyment been in?
Besides his roles in Corrie and The Royle Family, Andrew has starred in a host of other shows.
Among his telly credits are minor roles in The Cops, Heartbeat and Where the Heart Is.
He also took part in ITV singing competition Soapstar Superstar in 2006.
As well as competing in Dancing On Ice in 2012.
Andrew was partnered with pro skater Vicky Ogden and they were the 10th couple to be eliminated.
Is Andrew Whyment married?
Yes, Andrew is married to wife Nicola.
The couple tied the knot in 2007 and share two kids - Tom, 10, and Hollie, eight.
In 2017, Andrew revealed he had decided to have the snip to ensure they didn't expand their brood.
He told OK! magazine: "There's no chance [of having anymore kids] as I had the snip a few years ago.
"We said we wanted two kids and we have been really fortunate to have a boy and a girl."
Speaking about his wife, he has gushed:"I've been punching above my weight for years - my wife's gorgeous!"
Andrew lives with his family in Atherton.
