A man has been seriously injured after being knocked down by a car in a hit-and-run outside a busy Underground station.

Emergency crews were called to Camden Town shortly before 10.10pm on Wednesday night.

Paramedics was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Officers are trying to identify the car involved in the serious crash after the driver failed to stop.
