In fact UK viewers won't be able to see the show until March 31 2020 when the service launches on this side of the pond.
The series is set after the events of the original Star Wars trilogy but before the latest sequel films.
It will feature baby Yoda, as the infant/ future Jedi Master is introduced in the show.
The Lion King director Jon Favreau is at the helm of the first-ever live-action Star Wars series.

#DisneyPlus not coming to the UK til March 2020!? Are you actually serious? I’m not waiting til then to watch #TheMandalorian - you know what that means @disneyplus - you made me do this.... @themandalorian @Disney_UK— Sean Maguire (@RUDEdrink) November 12, 2019
One fan wrote: "Nooooo. So want to watch #TheMandalorian but its not in the UK till March. Grrrrr."
Another said: "I will impatiently wait until the UK Disney+ launch in March, but this situation with #TheMandalorian is absolutely mind-boggling."
A third said: I love @Disney , I really do, but why can’t they show #TheMandalorian SOMEWHERE in the UK instead of making us wait until March for @disneyplus ?"
A fourth chipped in: "Everyone living in the UK today interested in @starwars and waiting for mid-2020 when Disney+ arrives. Mid-2020? Are you freaking kidding me?"
Another just couldn't cope, adding: "Dear America. I'm definitely suffering from sever PMJD today... Post Mandalorian Jealousy Disorder Love From a UK Star Wars fan".
