UN chief arrives in Lviv, to meet with Zelensky, Erdogan tomorrow.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres arrived in Lviv on August 18 to participate in a trilateral meeting with Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine and Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey.
The Office of the UN Spokesperson announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"Antonio Guterres arrived in Lviv where, tomorrow, he will meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky and Turkish President Erdogan," the tweet reads.
Earlier reports said that after the trilateral meeting in Lviv, Guterres will travel to Odesa where he will visit the port, one of the three ports used as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
Before returning to New York at the weekend, Guterres will travel to Istanbul where he will visit a joint coordination center established to implement the initiative.
