
An aircraft crashed into a building in Brovary, a town near Kyiv, on January 18, and emergency services rushed to the scene, the deputy head of Ukraine's presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, wrote on Telegram. Tymoshenko said checks were being made on casualties. A spokeswoman for the Kyiv region police told Ukraine's public broadcaster Suspilne that a helicopter fell near a kindergarten in Brovary and a fire broke out.
