Infrastructure Ministry to implement state policy in field of tourism and resorts.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has instructed the Ministry of Infrastructure to implement state policy in the field of tourism and resorts.

As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, the relevant resolution was adopted at a government meeting on September 8.

According to the text of the explanatory note to the resolution, the ministry will implement state policy in the field of tourism and resorts, in addition to state supervision and control.

The development of tourism infrastructure is impossible without the creation of an efficient and safe transport complex of Ukraine integrated into the world system.

The ministry will also coordinate the work of the State Agency for Tourism Development.

Prior to that, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy performed the functions of implementing state policy in the field of tourism and resorts.
