Molecular-genetic studies did not detect COVID-19 coronavirus infection among 89 Ukrainians who are under observation in Novi Sanzhary. It was reported by the press service of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
"None of the 89 evacuees, who are being monitored in the village of Novi Sanzhary, Poltava region, are currently infected with the COVID-2019 coronavirus," Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, said.
According to him, molecular genetic studies of biological material, taken from the evacuees, have not yet identified the virus.
As we reported earlier, the first case of coronavirus infection was recorded among Ukrainians in Italy, Interfax informed with reference to the Italian media.
