Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree appointing Andrii Sybiha as deputy head of the President's Office in charge of foreign affairs and strategic partnership development, the presidential press service has reported.
Deputy Head of the President's Office Ihor Zhovkva will now be responsible for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, the report said.
According to the report, the position of deputy head of the President's Office in charge of Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration has been introduced. Zhovkva will take up this new position. According to the President's Office, a respective structural unit has been created.
In accordance with decree No. 220/2021, the Directorate for Foreign Policy and Strategic Partnership, the Directorate for Social Policy and Health and the Department for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration have been established at the President's Office. According to the same decree, the Directorate for Foreign Policy and the Department for Social Policy and Health have been disbanded.
On May 19, Zelensky dismissed Sybiha as Ukraine's ambassador to Turkey.
Zhovkva was appointed deputy head of the President's Office on September 10, 2019.
