Peace March was held in St. Petersburg on September 21. The participants of the march demanded an end to hostilities in Ukraine. Bumaga local newspaper writes about this.

"The protesters are demanding to end the hostilities in Ukraine, to return the annexed territories, stop military support to Syria and stop the militarization of the country," Bumaga informs.

It is reported that about 30 people participated in the uncoordinated procession. Three activists who stood with antiwar posters were detained.

On September 10, Albert Razin, a scientist, activist, former head of one of the Russian universities, committed self-arson in front of the building of the State Council of Udmurtia. A 79-year-old man was hospitalized but doctors could not save him.

In particular, the activist came with a picket to the building of the local state council in order to defend the right to the existence of the Udmurt language.

In December 2018, another picket against Russian military aggression in Ukraine took place in St. Petersburg, Russia. About 50 people took part in the rally on Nevsky Prospect.

The rally participants demanded the release and return of seamen and ships to Ukraine, to end the naval blockade of Ukrainian ports in the Sea of Azov and punish those responsible for the seizure of Ukrainian ships.
