Johnson says world should focus on delivering MLRS to Ukraine.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is completely not to be trusted.

According to Ukrinform, he said this in an interview with Bloomberg.

"How can you deal with a crocodile when it’s in the middle of eating your left leg? The guy’s completely not to be trusted," Johnson said when asked about the prospect of holding talks with Putin.

According to him, today the world should focus on delivering the MLRS to Ukraine, which will enable the country to defend itself against Russian artillery.

"It's absolutely vital we continue to support the Ukrainians militarily," he said.

At the same time, Johnson also ruled out using the British military to help clear mines from Ukrainian ports, saying only that the UK would work with international partners to help Ukraine do it.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said on May 8 that he expected a decision from the world on the transfer of American multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, in turn, said that Ukraine needs the fastest possible delivery of multiple rocket launchers, and called on the United States to take the first step in this area as an example for other countries.
