During demining efforts in one of the liberated settlements in Kharkiv region, a Ukrainian bomb squad found an IED planted in a baby crib.
That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, who spoke at the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"We saw cribs that had been mined – under a crib mattress, there would be a device that would go off if someone lay in that crib,” the official said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian invaders had set up multiple booby traps at civilian infrastructure sites as they were retreating.
A senior official with the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine, Oleh Bondar, suggests it will take five to 10 years to complete demining works across Ukraine, based on international experience.
