Sex toys worth £1 million stolen from lorry parked in layby as police launch hunt.

SEX toys worth £1million were nicked from a trailer parked in a layby.

The lorry was heading to Rocks Off Ltd to deliver its load when it was broken into between the A14 and Broughton village in September.

Northamptonshire Police have today released an appeal as they search for the adult toys.

A spokesperson said: "(The incident) involved a lorry travelling from Felixstowe to Kettering in order to deliver its load to Rocks Off Ltd, a business based in Cunliffe Drive.

They believe the trailer was broken into between 1am and 6.30am on September 18.

A Northamptonshire Police Facebook post about the theft has been widely shared, with one user suggesting the thieves were "already in handcuffs".

Another added: "They'll get a stiff sentence when they're caught."

Witnesses or anyone with information, should contact Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
