DTEK Naftogaz is ready to invest more than $402 million into the Ukrainian gas extraction. Director-General of the company Ihor Shchurov said that during the Ukrainian Gas Forum conference, as RBK-Ukraine reports.

He noted that the company will be continuing the implementation of the deep well drilling program.

"Private companies are ready to drill and ready to drill more. Currently, the DTEK Naftogaz is planning to keep going implementation of the planned investment programs: in the coming years we want to drill more than 20 wells with the depth from 5,5 to 7 kilometers. The investments of the deep drilling should draw up more than $402 million for that period," he said.

Shchurov stated that the change of fiscal regime, namely cancellation of stimulating payable for drilling new wells or reconsideration of payables on the deep drilling may put on pause the investment projects in the sphere.
