Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov believes that a resolution on Donbas should be adopted following the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
The statement came during an interview with Dom TV, Ukrinform reports.
Reznikov recalled that earlier the UN General Assembly had already passed several resolutions on the temporarily occupied Crimea.
"It's high time to adopt a resolution on Donbas as well. It should tell the whole world the truth about who an occupier and aggressor is," Reznikov said.
According to him, Ukraine is already working to this end.
It should be recalled that the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, which will take place in New York, will open on September 4. The general debate will run from September 21 to September 27.
Earlier, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said President Volodymyr Zelensky could join the UN General Assembly via video conference.
