The government will enforce revised zoning starting August 17.

Ukraine's health and emergency officials have revised the COVID-19 quarantine zones, introduced on August 1, 2020, in line with the adaptive quarantine rules.
The latest revision was passed on Wednesday, August 13, at an extraordinary meeting of the State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies.
Minister Oleh Nemchinov says the new zoning shall be enforced from midnight August 17.
Red zone: Horodenkiv and Kosiv districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region; the town of Sambir, Lviv region; the town of Belyaivka, Odesa region; the town of Dubno, Kostopil and Rivne districts, Rivne region; and Kitsman district, Chernivtsi region.
Orange zone: Lutsk and Liubashiv districts of Volyn region; the city of Uzhgorod, the town of Perechyn, Tyachiv, and Uzhgorod districts, Zakarpattia region; Ivano-Frankivsk, the towns of Burshtyn and Kolomyia, Tysmenytsia district of Ivano-Frankivsk region; Lviv, the towns of Boryslav, Drohobych, Morshyn, Novyi Rozdil, Stryi, Truskavets, and Chervonograd, as well as Brody, Busk, Horodok, Drohobych, Zhydachiv, Zhovkva, Zolochiv, Kamenka-Busk, Mykolayiv, Mostysk, Sambir, Pustomytiv, Radekhiv, Skole, Sambir, Sokal, Staryi Sambir, Stryi, Turkiv, and Yavoriv districts, Lviv region; Mykolaiv and Saratsk districts of Odesa region; the town of Ostroh, Goshchansk and Zdolbuniv districts of Rivne region; the town of Chortkiv, Ternopil district of Ternopil region; Chernivtsi, Hlyboka district of Chernivtsi region.
Yellow zone: Kyiv; Lutsk, the towns of Volodymyr-Volynsky and Novovolynsk, Gorokhiv, Ivanichiv, Kivertsi, Manevychi, and Ratniv districts of Volyn region; the town of Khust, Vynogradiv, Irshava, Mizhhirya, Mukachevo, Rakhiv, and Savelivka districts of Zakarpattia region; the town of Kalush, Bogorodchany, Verkhovyna, Halych, Dolyna, Kalush, Kolomyia, Nadvirna, Rohatyn, Rozhnitiv, Sniatyn, and Tlumach districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region; Odesa, the towns of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk, Izmail and Teplodar, as well as Ananyiv, Artsyz, Bereziv, Belyaiv, Belgorod, Liman, Ovidiopol and Savran districts of Odesa region; Rivne, the town of Varash, Berezniv, Volodymyrrets, Demydiv, Dubno, Zarechnia, Korets, Mlyniv, Ostroh, Radyvyliv, Rokytne, and Sarny districts of Rivne region; Ternopil, the town of Berezhany, Berezhany, Husiatyn and Chertkiv districts of Ternopil region; Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Valkiv, Zolochiv, Krasnyi Kut, Nova Vodolaha, Pervomaisk, and Chuhuiv districts of Kharkiv region; Vizhnytsia, Hertsaiv, Zastavne, Kelmenets, Novoselytsia, Putyla, Sokyriany, Starozhynets, and Khotyn districts of Chernivtsi region.
It is noted that the epidemic levels are set for 14 days.
Adaptive quarantine in Ukraine
New rules of the adaptive quarantine came into force on August 1.
Depending on the epidemiological situation, all regions have been divided into several zones: green, yellow, orange, and red – according to the COVID-19 risk levels.
Green zone will see light restrictions, while red-zone bans shall be the toughest.
