Zelensky names top priorities of Ukrainian diplomacy.

Countering the aggressor, ensuring the sovereignty, and restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine are among the top priorities of Ukrainian diplomacy, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.

He said this at the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. International Relations" in Kyiv on July 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The head of state noted that tension and the number of conflicts are growing at the global and regional levels, and some states are imposing approaches to international relations, which in turn violates the global legal order.

"Our main goal is to counteract this in the context of our own national interests. And our main national interest is peace. Not somewhere, but peace in our territory. This is my main goal as the President of Ukraine," Zelensky said.

According to him, countering the aggressor, ensuring the sovereignty, and restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine are among the top priorities of Ukrainian diplomacy.

"The illegal annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation and the war in Donbas are a challenge for everyone, for the whole democratic world. The formation of a strong "external front" of our state is the task of every diplomat. From attaché to ambassador. Personal task of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. And my task as well," Zelensky stressed, adding that he uses every contact with foreign colleagues to build support for our country from powerful world leaders.
