Ukraine will define when and how the war ends, and Ukrainians will not give up on their land.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Ukraine, and only Ukraine, will define when and how the war ends. We exercise our right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, following a brutal armed attack. President Zelensky has been clear. We don’t need anyone else’s land, but we won’t give up on what’s ours,” Kuleba stressed.
A reminder that The New York Times has recently published an editorial suggesting that, most likely, Ukraine would have to cede some territories to Russians to stop the war.
