Ukraine's national selection for Invictus Games to take place in Kyiv in September 14.

Kyiv's Pioner stadium is hosting the national selection for Invictus Games. The event is taking place on the second Saturday of September. Ukrainian servicemen who were wounded, injured or got sick while defending Ukraine on the battlefield are competing for a place in the national team; it will perform at Invictus Games in the Hague next year.

In 2018, the Ukrainian national team completed its participation in the Invictus Games in Sydney, receiving 7 gold, 10 silver and 3 bronze medals.

The idea to create the Invictus Games belongs to Prince Harry, who was inspired by it in 2013.
