Government allocates UAH 10 mln for humanitarian assistance to Albania.

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 10 million for humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Albania.

The corresponding decree, No.390-r of April 8, has been published on the Government portal.

"To implement the Ukrainian President’s Decree of January 31, 2020 No.32 ‘On rendering humanitarian aid to the Republic of Albania’ and allocate UAH 10 million to the Foreign Ministry for rendering humanitarian aid to the Republic of Albania," reads the document.

The government instructed the Finance Ministry to assign the relevant funds from the state budget’s reserve fund.

On January 31, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree to provide humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Albania in connection with the earthquake.
