Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"On September 15, as envisaged by law, the government will submit the draft state budget for 2022 to the parliament. For the first time, the document will be based on a medium-term budget declaration, which is designed for three years,” Shmyhal said.
According to him, the draft of the main financial document of the country will be balanced, realistic and will contain clear priorities, including, in particular, support and development of defense capabilities, healthcare, education, infrastructure and social programs.
According to the legislation, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine submits the draft law on the state budget of Ukraine for the following year to the Verkhovna Rada no later than on September 15 of each year. The report on the course of the implementation of the state budget in the current year is submitted together with the draft law.
