UK’s Defence Ministry shows Ukrainian soldiers mastering Challenger 2 tanks.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom points to significant and rapid progress of the Ukrainian service members in mastering Challenger 2 tanks which are handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Tank crews from the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been quick to master the controls of the mighty Challenger 2 this week. The UK is providing Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine to help them defend their homeland and retake territory,” the UK’s Ministry of Defence posted on Twitter.
As reported, the British Government approved a decision to hand over a company of Challenger 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine. Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said that Challenger 2 tanks are expected to be delivered to Ukraine by the summer.
