Iran to set up special court to investigate Boeing 737 crash.

Iran will set up a special court in order to investigate the Boeing 737 crash. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said this, Irna reports.

"The judiciary has to set up a special court under the leadership of a senior judge and dozens of experts in order to investigate the incident with the aircraft (UIA – ed. )," Ruhani stated.

Iranian president said he had made every effort for the investigation not to be delayed.

He noted that investigation of the plane crash is not a "common cause" and added that the whole world is watching over Iran.

As we reported earlier, the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has launched a pre-trial investigation into the UIA crash in Iran under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

“Security Service, on behalf of the Prosecutor General's Office, started investigating the circumstances of the Boeing crash under Article 276, Part 3 (violation of traffic safety rules or exploitation of air transport), Article 115, Part 2 (intentional homicide) and Article 194 (intentional destruction or damage of property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the message reads.
