Yemets not going to resign – Health Ministry

Health Minister of Ukraine Ilya Yemets is not planning to resign, according to ministry’s spokesperson Artem Dekhtiarenko.

“Health Minister Ilya Yemets is not going to resign," he said on 1+1 TV channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to Dekhtiarenko, the position of Yemets is the following: "he has come to power to carry out the healthcare reform and help Ukraine overcome the coronavirus epidemic."

Earlier, there were reports about possible resignation of Ilya Yemets from the post of health minister.
