The next Normandy format meeting at the highest level is possible only after the agreements reached during the December summit in Paris are implemented.
"Our common goal is not to hold a summit for the sake of holding it. In our opinion, an important task now is to implement the conclusions that were adopted upon the December summit of the Normandy format in Paris. We can consider organizing the next meeting in this format only under this condition," Ambassador of France to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins said at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
As reported, the last meeting of the Normandy format leaders took place in Paris on December 9, 2019. On July 3, the talks at the level of political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy format countries were held in Berlin.
The Office of the President of Ukraine informed that Ukraine, France, and Germany had shown readiness to make every effort to implement the agreements reached in Paris, while Russia had taken some time off.
Earlier, Oleksiy Reznikov, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories did not rule out that a Normandy format summit could take place in Berlin in August.
