Law enforcers conducted ten searches among the defendants in the case of Kateryna Hanzdiuk, the Ukrainian activist who was killed in Kherson region in 2018. The media assume that Ihor Pavlovsky, the ex-assistant to a member of the Ukrainian parliament could belong to the group of attackers. He currently is in custody. Four defendants are now also charged with the illegal seizing of vehicles.

Earlier, lawyers of Oleksiy Levin, the suspect in the organization of the murder of Kherson activist Kateryna Handziuk, prepare the appeal against the decision of Bulgaria’s court on his extradition to Ukraine, as Hromadske reports, citing Levin’s lawyer Mykhailo Velychko.

“This week, he will not be extradited because the client made a decision personally and ordered the lawyer, who presents his interests in Bulgaria, to file the appeal. Technically, any moment, we may withdraw this appeal but it is not the issue,” Velychko reported.
